STEPHANIE SY
With over 25 years in movement, performance, and wellness, Stephanie Sy brings deep experience and a unique perspective to chi health club. Her career began with elite training through scholarships across North America, studying under renowned mentors from The National Ballet of Canada, Royal Winnipeg Ballet, and Edge Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Kinetics and an Associate’s Degree in Sports Science & Technology. Her expertise bridges the art of movement with the science of human performance. As a former kinesiologist, certified personal trainer, and movement therapist, she is known for her ability to translate biomechanics into embodied, sustainable practice.
For over a decade, she led the development of PŪR Movement, a premier space for dance, fitness, and therapeutic movement. That vision has now evolved into chi Health Club—a private wellness facility she co-founded with health optimization expert Fraser Coppin. Together, they integrate clinical health systems, energy-based therapies, and mindful movement to support regeneration, vitality, and long-term performance.
Stephanie’s work spans coaching high-performance athletes, including Olympians and national-level figure skaters, as well as serving as a choreographer and on-camera performer for film, TV, and live events. Her creative and technical abilities have been featured in productions on CW, CBC, Netflix, and Paramount+, as well as in The Globe & Mail, lululemon, and lifestyle publications across Canada.
At chi Health Club, Stephanie leads a curated movement program designed to restore the body’s natural intelligence and reawaken energy at every level. Her approach blends ancient movement principles with modern performance systems—creating a space where members can move better, feel stronger, and live more fully.
